Hi, I’m Kara

Currently residing in Janesville, WI, I’m a stay-at-home mom to my son, Ollie, after my difficult pregnancy prompted me to leave my last full-time position in 2023. I’m always looking for side projects or even “my dream job” to keep my creativity and passion alive. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a degree in Graphic Design in 2014 and have been dabbling in freelance work since 2010.

My personal design style is based in minimalism – focusing on purposeful design, but with a little extra flare. It doesn’t need to be over-complicated. Even the most beautiful design can fall flat if the message isn’t visually engaging or clear – It’s best to allow the core message to be the focal point. I enjoy working on a variety of different types of projects – everything from print to digital design, as well as copywriting, photography, and social media management.
